-
Highland Renewable Energy Strategy
The
Highland Renewable Energy Strategy was formally approved at the Council meeting held on 4 May 2006. A new SPG for onshore Wind Energy development is now being prepared in response to SPP6. It will replace parts of the existing Highland Renewable Energy Strategy & Planning Guidelines. The draft SPG will be consulted upon to inform and accompany the Proposed Highland-wide Local Development Plan.
- Developer Contributions
This supplementary guidance (SG) is an important step in helping us make sure the proposals (such as for new roads and open spaces) in the area local development plans and other council plans can be put in place. It will provide consistent guidance for service providers, developers and the community. The Guidance will be prepared in tandem with the Highland wide Local Development Plan.
