The Ross & Cromarty East Plan is a statutory document prepared by The Highland Council which guides decisions on planning applications in the Ross & Cromarty East Area.
The Ross & Cromarty East Local Plan was adopted in February 2007.
The Plan became operative on Thursday 8 February 2007. The deposited documents are available for inspection free of charge during normal opening hours from Friday 16 February 2007 for a 6 week period. (for details see Advert Enclosure)
Existing Local Plan - adopted in February 2007;
Public Local Inquiry - held in June and July 2005
Development Briefs and Framework Plans - non-statutory documents for specific sites, providing information and guidance to potential developers;
Development Plan Policy Guidance - provide more detailed guidance for Local Plans, development control, developers and the public on the interpretation of specific policies contained in the Highland Structure Plan.
Houses in Multiple Occupation - Draft Supplementary Planning Guidance
Open Space Supplementary Planning Guidance - provides guidance on both the design and provision of greenspace, sport and recreation facilities throughout the Highlands.
