The Highland Council have prepared a West Highland and Islands Local Plan (WHILP). This will replace the Skye & Lochalsh Local Plan, the Lochaber Local Plan and a small part of the Badenoch & Strathspey Local Plan (west of Kinlochlaggan).
A Deposit Draft 2008 is the current stage. Objections to that draft are now being considered at Examination.

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)
