Proposed Wind Farm at Burn of Whilk

The Highland Council has received a planning application (06/00676/FULCA), accompanied by an Environmental Statement, for the construction of thirteen wind generators with associated access tracks, substation and ancillary works and equipment at Burn of Whilk, East Clyth, Lybster, Caithness.

The applicants are Npower Renewables Limited, North Range, East Lodge, Stanley Mills, Stanley, Perthshire, PH1 4QE.

Printed copies of the Planning Application and Environmental Statement and Technical Appendices can be inspected during normal office hours at the following locations:-

The application is advertised as a potential bad neighbour and as a potential Departure from the Development Plan as well as an application accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
