Harbours

The Highland Council Harbours Authority is responsible for the Harbours of Gairloch, Helmsdale,  Kinlochbervie, Kyle of Lochalsh, Lochinver, Portree and Uig.  The Highland Council also manages many other small piers, harbours and jetties throughout the Highland Regions of Scotland.  Most of the Harbours are involved in the fishing industry, ferry operations and general cargo.
