The proposals being considered are part of an overall transport development plan that has the Inverness Trunk Link Road as a central plank. It also embraces a number of multimodal solutions consisting of wide ranging improvements including park and ride schemes, integrated bus services, and walking and cycling facilities.
Proposal 1 - Inverness Trunk Link Road - East Section, West Section and Dualling of Southern Distributor Road
Proposal 2 - Park and Ride Sites - A9 North Kessock, A96 North Smithton, A9 South Inshes, Dores Road, A82 West Torvean, Clachnaharry.
Proposal 3 - Creation of Bus Lanes
Proposal 4 - Creation of Bus Priority Measures
Proposal 5 - Creation of provision for walkers and cyclists
