Using Public Transport

Public transport can be a viable option to the car.  Bus travel between Highland towns is a cheap alternative and travel outwith Highland on main routes such as Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow can be made easily by train.  In addition to saving CO2, it offers time to relax or work instead of having to drive.

If bus/train times are not suitable for a particular event, ask the organisers to consider arranging start/finish times to suit travel requirements.

staff must book public transport and car hire travel via the Travel Desk.  Please try to book public travel arrangements as far in advance as possible to benefit from the lowest prices.
