What is a Green Ambassador?
Highland Council have recruited over 125 volunteer staff to champion "green" issues in the workplace and encourage colleagues to save energy, reduce waste and cut carbon emissions. Posters and resources are available for use in the workplace and a programme of free events and training activities is offered throughout the year.
Energy Efficiency Resources
Council Managers were invited to a half day training on energy efficiency measures in May 2011 funded by the Carbon Trust. Links to a toolkit of resources are available here.
