For the last five years, The Council has produced this annual report on all things waste and recycling. It keeps everyone up-to-date on what has been going on in Highland in terms of recycling activities, waste destinations and even how your local Recycling Point has performed. Having reached a recycling rate of nearly 35%, over a third of Highland’s waste is now being diverted from landfill, a fantastic achievement for everybody! This report should give those looking for more detail into Highland’s waste some insight into how we have reached this level of recycling.
