Working in partnership with local groups and communities is an important aspect of our work. The services delivered by these organisations go beyond recycling. They deliver real social, environmental and economic benefits to the people and communities within the Highlands.
We currently work with 9 social enterprise groups which help deliver recycling services and 3 organisations which help promote waste prevention. They work with households and communities to raise awareness and encourage people to prevent waste from being created in the first place, as well as promoting the benefits of reusing, recycling and composting.
