GREAN (Golspie Recycling Action Network), a community enterprise group, currently operates a weekly kerbside recycling service for approximately 3127 households in East and Central Sutherland around the following settlements only:
- Ardgay
- Bonar Bridge
- Brora
- Donroch
- Golspie
- Helsmdale
- Lairg
Householders are provided with a blue box which should be used for paper, carboard, textiles and glass bottles and jars.
Plastic bottles (no caps) and food and drink cans are also collected in the large plastic bag which is also provided.
