The Young Scot scheme is the national youth information agency which works in partnership with Scottish councils to provide support, opportunities and incentives to young people aged 11 to 26.
There are over 1,800 places across Scotland where the Young Scot card can be used to save money on shopping, travel, food and leisure.
The Highland Council’s High Life card is jointly branded with the Young Scot card and aims to increase the use of libraries and leisure centres and contribute to healthier lifestyles for the community.
The scheme has a membership card and pricing system, which promotes affordable access to the our leisure centres and is further enhanced for 12 – 18 year olds with 20 per cent discount and, for the more regular, user a month’s free use is available for them and their families.
All of our leisure centres, Inverness Leisure and other independent leisure facilities have become part of the scheme.
