Temporary Closure of Canal Towpath

Major engineering works by Scottish Canals are taking place on the towpath between Fort Augustus and Aberchalder.
Scottish Canals re-opened the towpath to walkers and cyclists on Sunday 7th April. As there will still be large plant and equipment operating at Kytra Lock for the next few weeks, wayfarers will be escorted through the work site and should therefore expect minor delays. For your own safety please obey all signs and instructions from staff.
