Berriedale & Dunbeath Community Council Dunbeath Broch Project Dunbeath Broch is a Scheduled Monument and is the best preserved and most visited of several brochs in the Strath.  However, the broch is in need of conservation works to slow or prevent deterioration of the structure and assure safe access.  This work, in parallel with some investigative small scale excavation, will increase understanding of the monument, aid public interpretation and provide an interpretive panel at the site.  This is Phase 2 of the project which we are seeking LEADER support for. £55,014.00 £21,014.00
Lyth Arts Centre Making More of Caithness: Culture, Tourism & Community The ‘Making more of Caithness’ project builds on the feedback they have received from their audiences, local businesses, regional representatives, local village halls and local tourist facing organisations. The project will start in April 2018 and complete at the end of October 2019.  Through this project LAC adds new programming and marketing activities that grows and attracts new visitors and tourists to the region, and supports village halls.  £75,540.00 £49,040.00
