Scottish Water: Essential work to manhole covers on Kingsmills Road, Inverness

Essential work to repair manhole covers in the Crown area of Inverness will be carried out on Wednesday, 22 August, Scottish Water has advised.

The repairs, which will be completed by Scottish Water’s contractor Kier, will take place on Kingsmills Road at the junction with Darnaway Road between 0930 and 1530 to avoid peak time traffic.

Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the work, with a two-way diversion via Kingsmills Road, Damfield Road, Annfield Road and Southside Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Gavin Steel, of Scottish Water, said: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this work and thank customers and motorists for their patience and understanding while it is being completed."
