Council congratulates Children’s Services Worker on breaking round world record

The Highland Council congratulates Inverness mother and endurance cyclist Jenny Graham on breaking the world record for being the fastest self-supported female circumnavigating the world by bike.

Provost of Inverness, Cllr Helen Carmichael said: “A massive well done to Jenny on her world record breaking achievement. Her accomplishment is truly staggering and we commend her perseverance and endurance in reaching her goal.

“On behalf of The Highland Council, Councillors and staff, I join the people of Inverness and the Highlands to congratulate Jenny on her accomplishment and thank her for bringing the achievements of an Inverness mother to a global audience.

“Well done Jenny and a safe journey home, we look forward to welcoming you to the Town House when you return.”

Currently on sabbatical, Jenny Graham is a Children’s Services Worker at ‘The Bridge’ in Inverness which is Highland Council’s intensive support and vocational centre for young people.
