Conclusion of Highland Council statutory consultation on a new Tain 3-18 Campus

The Council has published its Report reviewing the consultation exercise into a new 3-18 campus in Tain. The recommendation is for a new Tain 3-18 Campus to be located on a site next to Craighill Primary School, that Campus to replace Tain Royal Academy, Craighill Primary School, Knockbreck Primary School and St. Duthus Special School.  The original consultation on the proposal ran from 5 June to 4 September 2018.

The Final Consultation Report is to be submitted to the Care, Learning and Housing Committee (CLH) Committee on 21 August 2019.

Between now and 15 August 2019, members of the public are invited to provide comments which will be tabled at the August meeting of the CLH Committee. This will allow Elected Members to take into account any further representations in relation to the recommendation contained within the Report before agreeing a decision.

Anyone can forward written comments on the Report to Highland Council, by letter, by email or via an online form.  Information on how to comments can be found on the Schools Consultation page.

Any further comments must arrive not later than Thursday 15 August 2019.
