Various roads in Dalneigh, Inverness to close temporarily for Scottish Water works

Various roads in the Dalneigh area of Inverness will be temporarily closed from 8am on Monday 17 August 2020 and remain in effect until 6pm on Monday 24 May 2021.

The closures are being introduced to enable Scottish Water to carry out essential water works and will only apply when a prohibition is identified by means of one or more of the appropriate temporary traffic signs.

The works will be starting at Fairfield Road/Hawthorn Drive and working along the route one street at a time.

Vehicular traffic will be temporarily prohibited from using the following roads:

1. U4027 Hawthorn Drive, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U3976 Fairfield Road and its junction with the U4089 Limetree Avenue.
2. U3826 Caledonian Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4027 Hawthorn Drive and its junction with the U3861 Dochfour Drive.
3. U4087 Lilac Grove, Inverness, closed between its westernmost junction with the U3826 Caledonian Road and its easternmost junction with the U3826 Caledonian Road.
4. U4310 Rowan Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U3826 Caledonian Road and its junction with the U4089 Limetree Avenue.
5. U4126 Maple Drive, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U3826 Caledonian Road and its junction with the U4089 Limetree Avenue.
6. U4089 Limetree Avenue, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4027 Hawthorn Drive and its junction with the U4310 Rowan Road.
7. U4342 St Margarets Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4340 St Johns Avenue and its junction with the U3851 Dalneigh Road.
8. U4348 St Ninian Drive, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4342 St Margarets Road and its junction with the U4350 St Valery Avenue.
9. U4350 St Valery Avenue, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4348 St Ninian Drive and its junction with the U4336 St Andrew Drive.
10. U4346 St Mungo Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4348 St Ninian Drive and its junction with the U4336 St Andrew Drive.
11. U4336 St Andrew Drive, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U4350 St Valery Avenue and its junction with the U4342 St Margarets Road.
12. U3861 Dochfour Drive, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U3976 Fairfield Road and its junction with the U4298 Rangemore Road.
13. U4298 Rangemore Road, Inverness, closed between its junction with the U3861 Dochfour Drive and its junction with the U4142 Montague Row.
14. U4142 Montague Row, Inverness, closed between its junction with Tomnahuich Street (A82 Trunk Road) and its junction with the U4298 Rangemore Road.

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained and local diversions will be signposted.
