Road condition reports for Tuesday, 16 February 2021 are as follows:
Lochalsh and Ross & Cromarty West
Posted at 07:12. Positive road surface temperatures within the area. Continuing winter maintenance on the A835 to clear unstable snow banks from side of the road. No other known issues.
Lochaber
Posted at 08:35. No problems overnight.
Skye and Raasay
Posted at 07:02. Positive road temperatures across domain this morning - no winter action required this morning. No issues reported overnight.
Caithness
Posted at 10:25. No winter treatments required this morning, and no known issues overnight.
Inverness
Posted at 06:41. Roads damp / wet. There are sections of drifts that only a tractor plough has been through on the Coignafearn road, Tomatin. Continuing to widen out with digger today to get gritter through, local 4x4s and tractors are managing to get through meantime.
Sutherland
Posted at 08:05. No action this morning.
Nairn
Posted at 07:57. Damp roads, positive temperatures, no winter treatments required.
Badenoch and Strathspey
Posted at 07:53. Damp roads, positive temperatures, no winter treatments required. A939 Grantown to Bridge of Brown remains closed due to drifting snow, works continuing to clear.
Ross and Cromarty East
Posted at 06:35. Positive temperatures today. No known issues.
