Foot bridge at Whin Park closed to the public during vital repair work

As part of Highland Council’s routine safety inspection activity at public locations in Inverness, operatives have discovered safety issues with a bridge within Whin Park, Inverness.

The bridge is deemed unsafe at the present time and has been closed until remedial works have been undertaken.

The area has been cordoned off to the public and should not be used under any circumstances. As soon as a works schedule is known, we will update on plans to re-open.

The bridge allows people to cross from the rugby pitches path over the hydro burn on to the islands
