Public asked for their views on future use of Maryburgh Primary School

The public is being invited by The Highland Council to have their say on the future use of Maryburgh Primary School after it closes in the summer of next year.

Pupils from Maryburgh will be joining pupils from Conon Bridge Primary School at the new Ben Wyvis Primary School, Conon Bridge, which is under construction and will open in August, next year.

Suggestions and proposals for the future use of the Maryburgh Primary School site are invited from the community for consideration. Once all the responses have been reviewed, it is proposed that a public meeting will be held later this year.

Responses should be sent to the Area Education, Culture and Sport Office, Castle Street Dingwall by 5 pm on Thursday 15 September 2011 marked for the attention of Norma Young, Senior Education Officer, The Highland Council (Tel 01349 868241).
