Temporary Road Closure on the Fort Augustus to Dores Road

The Highland Council is warning drivers in the Highlands that a section of the B862 Fort Augustus to Dores road will be closed to all traffic from 20.30hrs on Saturday 29 July until 9.30hrs on Sunday 30 July.

This temporary closure is to allow for the installation of a culvert.  Work will start approximately 1.3kms north-east of the B862 junction with Ardachy Road, Fort Augustus and continue for a distance of 3kms towards Whitebridge, Torness and Dores.

Sign posts will be in place and alternative routes for vehicles will be available.  Pedestrian access, access for cyclists and access for emergency vehicles will be controlled by the contractor.
