Temporary road closure for tree works – south east Inverness

Motorists are advised that the U1229 Blacktown – Nairnside Bridge – Castletown Road (south east of Inverness) is closed to through traffic from its junction with the B851 from 7 - 21 April 2015.

This restriction is required to allow roadside tree felling and loading operations to be safely carried out. Access to local properties will be maintained at all times.

The restrictions are in place until Tuesday 21 April or until the works are completed (whichever comes first).
