Services in Caithness for adults and children on District Partnership agenda

Next Friday (18 March) the Caithness District Partnership will meet in full as part of the arrangements under the Planning for Integration (P4i) partnership between NHS Highland and The Highland Council. Issues to be discussed will include updates on the Adult Services Changes and Improvement Plan and an update on the Children Services District Plan.

There will also be a presentation by Jill Smith and Sandra Harrington on the Joint Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)/Midwifery Project followed by an update on the Self-Managed Development Fund.

Councillor Willie Mackay, who will Chair the meeting, said: “We have an excellent agenda for the 18th of March on a variety of local NHS and Social work topics which again highlights the important roll the District Partnership is playing in the county.  I look forward to a constructive meeting with some positive outcomes and encourage members of the public to attend and where possible time will be allowed for questions relevant to the agenda items.”

This meeting will take place in the Chamber of the Town Hall, Bridge Street from 10 am until 12 noon. The public are more than welcome to attend the meeting and will have an opportunity to ask questions, comment on any matter raised as part of the discussions or put forward their views and suggestions.
