Highland Leaders wish Ross County all the best for Cup Final

Highland Council Leaders have wished Ross County Football Club the best of luck for the Scottish League Cup Final this weekend in Hampden Park, Glasgow.

Leader of The Highland Council, Cllr Margaret Davidson offers her support to Ross County Football Cub as they head off to Hampden this Sunday for the Scottish League Cup Final. Commenting on this achievement, Cllr Davidson said:  “I want to wish Ross County all the very best for Sunday, they have done amazingly to qualify for the final and it should be an exciting day.”

Chair of the Council’s Ross and Cromarty Committee Cllr Margaret Paterson declared her interest in ‘The Staggies’ at the meeting of The Highland Council this week and invited Members of the Council to “Join me in wishing them all the very best for Sunday and God willing they take cup home to the Highlands.”

She added: “This is a tremendous achievement for us and we are so proud of our team having got to the final, we will be cheering them on with our hearts, the whole community are behind them.”
