Children and families services in the spot light at the next Lochaber District Partnership meeting

The third meeting of the Lochaber District Partnership this year will take place in  Fort William on Tuesday 21 June.

The meeting will feature discussion on childcare facilities, holiday activity provision, youth services, pre-school provision and play parks.  The Partnership will hear how provision has been developing in the District, areas of concern and any plans that are in the pipeline for future development.  Kath McAvoy, Area Manager West from Highland Council’s care and learning service will lead the discussion.

The meeting will also discuss progress on the priorities contained within the Lochaber Community development plan – healthier section and general progress reporting in respect of District Partnership instructed business.

The meeting starts at 1.30pm in the Council Chambers, Lochaber House, Fort William.  Members of the public are welcome to come along to observe the meeting and will be invited to comment on the items discussed at the end of each section of the agenda.
