Overview	The Association of Northern Trails Scotland were awarded LEADER funding towards phase 3 of their project to establish the John O’ Groats Trail. The trail runs from Inverness up the east coast of the Highlands to John O’ Groats, taking in spectacular cliff top views and coastline. This phase will involve obtaining professional staff to help develop the trail as a year-long pilot project by leading walks, checking for and carrying out minor maintenance and participating in planning for further development of the trail.
