Overview

LEADER funding was awarded to support the upgrade of the community-owned pier at North Kessock. The project will construct a new boat jetty on the pier, making launching small boats much easier and safer and allowing several craft to use it at once. It is hoped that this will encourage those less experienced to participate in marine leisure activities, whilst also greatly enhancing the experience of the many visitors who simply walk on the pier to get closer to the water by allowing them to see the spectacular sea views to the west.
