Overview

Loch Achonachie Angling Club were awarded LEADER funding to install pontoon moorings at Loch Meig. The project will involve constructing a stone causeway above the flood line of a hydroelectric dam, which will be linked to a short walkway leading to a bridge section and the pontoon. The aim of the project is to provide safe, accessible fixed moorings for a fleet of 4 rowing boats and one wheelyboat for disabled access to the loch.
