LEADER funding has been awarded for a project to install glamping pods on a piece of land near Ardgay, in the Kyle of Sutherland area. The pods will offer a double sized bed, full ensuite facilities, a small kitchen / living-room area with TV and Wi-Fi, as well as an outdoor barbeque and fire pit. This project aims to increase the provision of high-quality tourist accommodation within the local area, provide one permanent job and benefit the local economy and community with the increased visitor spend.
