Overview

Morvern Community Development Company successfully applied for LEADER funding towards phase 1 of their project to regenerate the village of Lochaline. The funds will be used to build a community business hub that will incorporate a heritage and tourist information centre with public toilets, a health suite, a gift shop selling local produce and flexible working spaces/offices/workshops that would be available to local and national businesses to rent.  When completed, the development will be a culmination of over 20 years of community consultation, land acquisition, private sector lobbying and cooperation which will deliver a much-needed community business hub to the village.
