Asset management
The Road Asset Management Plan 2016 to 2019 is the 4th version of our plan for managing our network of roads.
The plan was developed through participation in the Society of Chief Officers for Transportation in Scotland project to produce a common framework for road asset management plans in Scotland.
The government is encouraging the development of these plans to assist in the production of Whole of Government Accounts which will see financial reporting of current values of assets rather than historical ones.
