details to help us assess your eligibility including: date of birth; specific financial benefits you receive, your property’s council tax band
How will we use the information
We need to collect your personal information so that we, with our partners on this scheme, can:- assess your eligibility for the Fire Alarms Low Income Home-Owners Assistance Scheme and

offer you assistance under this Scheme.
If you are eligible for this Scheme, we will share this information with the services that we are partnering with on this Scheme i.e. Lochaber Care & Repair Ltd.; Lochalsh and Skye Care & Repair Ltd; ILM Ltd, so that they can offer and provide you with assistance.
Public Interest PurposesWe also process your information where it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the exercise of official authority vested in The Highland Council to:
- prevent or detect unlawful acts;
- protect the public against dishonesty, malpractice or other seriously improper conduct; and
