Purpose
Fort William 2040 Town Centre Masterplan Engagement -
Description
Along with partners in Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the Lochaber Chamber of Commerce, the Highland Council are undertaking a process of community engagement on a new Fort William Town Centre Masterplan. We are asking individual community members and representatives of local organisations and businesses for their feedback on the proposals contained in the Masterplan.
Feedback can be submitted by email or by completion of a proforma feedback form. As part of this process, The Highland Council needs to collect your personal data so we can record and respond to your comments. We will only collect the personal data from you that we need to understand and handle your feedback.
The purpose of gathering feedback is to help identify issues, opportunities, allow members of the community to show support, or highlight any concerns they may have with the proposals. Information gathered will primarily be used to identify and analyse themes within the feedback. We are also interested in whether there is any connection to demographic characteristics and therefore findings may be reported by age category, residency, or business interest where relevant. The results of the engagement process including data will be shared with the Masterplanning team and summarised findings may be published e.g., in Committee Reports and shared with partner organisations.
All personal data will however be anonymized for reporting purposes.
