Road safety team consultations - Play Street Event (Charles Street (Part), Inverness October 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Highland Council has made the above named order in terms of Section 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is that, between 10:00hrs and 13:00hrs on 27th October 2024, vehicular traffic is prohibited on the U3835 Charles Street, Inverness between its junction with the U3769 Ardconnel Street to its junction with the U3857 is prohibited when a prohibition is identified as applying by means of one or more ‘ROAD CLOSED’ sign(s).

The Order has been made to allow the Play Street Event to take place and ensure the safety of pedestrians utilising the carriageway for the purposes of play during the event times. The Order comes into effect at 10:00hrs on Sunday 27th October 2024 and remains in force until 13:00hrs on Sunday 27th October 2024.
