Purpose
Community Benefits Grant -
Description
Organisations such as Community Councils, voluntary groups and not-for-profit social enterprises are eligible to apply for a community benefits grant. You are giving us your personal information to allow us to determine whether your project is eligible to receive funding from one of the stakeholders for the Community Benefit grant and to provide feedback on your proposals. We also use your information to verify your identity where required, contact you by post, email or telephone and to maintain our records. Personal information and organisation’s bank details are required to process applications and make payments. Successful applicants will be required to provide bank details to the stakeholder to allow grant payment.

If you don't give us your information
If you don’t provide personal information and organisation’s bank details for approved applications we will not be able to process your application.

Conditions for processing personal information
Public Task - Article 6 (1)(e) - Processing your personal information is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (or to take steps to enter into a contract with you). If you do not provide us with the information we have asked for then we will not be able to process your application.

Who we share your information with
Your personal information will be shared with Highland Council staff and approved stakeholders responsible for evaluating applications (Union Technical Services Limited) and the Scottish Government.

We will hold your information for the current year plus 6 years.
