Report a concern or accident
Complaints about work activities are dealt with by our Environmental Health Officers.
They range from simple problems such as a lack of heating or dirty conditions, to more serious matters involving the misuse of dangerous substances or the operation of unguarded machinery.
Accidents
Our officers investigate reported accidents in premises where they are responsible for enforcing workplace health and safety. This is done to identify the underlying cause and work out what action is needed to prevent a recurrence.
The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) advises on what kind of injuries, diseases and incidents can be reported.
