Contaminated land
We have a duty to inspect land which may be contaminated and make sure that land redeveloped through the planning process is suitable for use.
The Contaminated Land Unit can provide Environmental Information Requests in relation to site specific enquiries. If you have a site that you wish to be queried against our database, historical maps and various service records please send us a list of your questions along with a site boundary map location plan. We charge an hourly rate of £87 (£104.40 including VAT) as from 1 April 2024.
