Tourism development

Our role is to:

  • Assist businesses and groups in developing tourism projects
  • Work to maximise the benefits that cruise liner business brings to the Highlands
  • Provide discretionary financial assistance to destination organisations for tourism development projects
  • Work with VisitScotland and the Scottish Tourism Alliance to organise a Highland Tourism Conference
  • Gather information about the volume and value of tourism in the Highlands.

High Life Highland (who deliver community learning and leisure services for us) also support the development of tourism through the following services:
