The main service functions are; Corporate Finance, Revenues and Business Support, Audit and Risk Management, Procurement. The Service is also responsible for collecting council tax, business rates and other debt, the payment of various benefits, money advice, procurement of services and payments to suppliers, payroll and pensions and a range of business support services supporting all parts of the Council.
