A meeting of the North Planning Applications Committee will take place in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Tuesday, 11 November 2014 at 10.30 am.

You are invited to attend and a note of the business to be considered is attached.

Members are reminded that during determination of any item before this Committee they must be present throughout the whole of that item in order to be entitled to participate.

There is circulated Report No PLN/075/14 (Plans pp 1 - 3) by the Head of Planning and Building Standards, which provides an update on progress of all cases within the ‘Major’ development category currently with the Planning and Development Service for determination and identifies those proposed applications which have Proposal of Application Notice (PAN).  The report also details progress on proposals submitted under S36 or S37 of the Electricity Act 1989 on which the Council is consulted.

The Committee is invited to note the current position with these applications.

Further Representations Following Updated National Planning Framework And Scottish Planning Policy (June 2014)

There is circulated Report No PLN/082/14 (pp 125 - 208) (Plans pp 41) by the Head of Planning and Building Standards which explains that following the publication of the National Planning Framework 3 and Scottish Planning Policy the Scottish Government is asking all parties submitting representations on two as yet undetermined Section 36 wind farm applications if they wish to update their response.
