Inverness Campsie Club Parade 2017 - Temporary Road Closure Notice

A temporary traffic notice has been published to cover the temporary closure of various roads in Inverness during the ‘Inverness Campsie Club Parade’ to be held on Saturday 25th March 2017.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ON VARIOUS ROADS IN INVERNESS) NOTICE 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Highland Council has made a Notice in terms of Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, titled as above.

The Notice is made in the interests of public safety during the ‘Inverness Campsie Club Parade’ to be held on Saturday 25 March 2017.

The effect of the Notice is to introduce temporary traffic prohibitions on those roads listed in the schedule hereto.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will affect vehicular traffic.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will come into effect and will remain in effect during the times listed in the schedule hereto and only then under the direction of a Police Constable in uniform.

The Council have had regard to the safety and convenience of alternative routes suitable for the traffic which will be affected by this Order.

This notice comes into force on Saturday 25 March 2017.

• Culduthel Avenue, Inverness, closed at its junction with Culduthel Road to the point where it becomes a cycletrack: a distance of 105 metres, or thereby; between 13:50hrs and 14:05hrs on Saturday 25 March 2017.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with the B8082 Inverness Southern Distributor Road to its junction with Green Drive, between 13:55hrs and 14:05hrs on Saturday 25 March 2017.
• Green Drive, Inverness, closed at its southernmost junction with Culduthel Road to its northernmost (roundabout) junction with Culduthel Road, between 14:00hrs and 14:10hrs on Saturday 25 March 2017.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its roundabout junction with Green Drive to its junction with Drummond Road, between 14:05hrs and 14:25hrs on Saturday 25 March 2017.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Drummond Road to its junction with Old Edinburgh Road, between 14:15hrs and 14:35hrs on Saturday 25 March 2017.
