Convenor of the Highland Council, Councillor Bill Lobban said: “Angus was very well liked by his community whom he supported steadfastly over many years. He will be sorely missed. I extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family.”

Councillor Margaret Davidson, Highland Council Leader added: “Angus was a true gentleman who was always there when needed and served his community of South Strathspey with extreme loyalty. He was especially supportive to the people of Badenoch and Strathspey first and foremost.”
