The results are in from the 2018 Safer Highland Rock Challenge® and J Rock™ (27 March)

Tonight (27 March 2018) the 2018 Safer Highland 2018 Rock Challenge® and J Rock™ took place at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness. Seven schools from across The Highlands competed and the results are:
1st place J Rock™
Coulhill Primary, Alness
London's A Blaze
London 1666, the plague is rife within the streets of the city. Thomas Farriner the local baker and his two daughters awake for another busy day. While out selling bread a raging, fire starts within their bakery and tears through the city. Thomas and his daughters are separated by the blaze, will they be reunited?

The Wendigo
In a small mountain settlement in Northern Canada, settlers enjoy beautiful summers but face starvation in harsh winters. Legends of mysterious ice and forest creatures have been told from generation to generation. One mother warns her two children of ‘The Wendigo’, a spirit who possesses and controls the vulnerable and starving in the depths of winter. Will they listen?

Be Careful What You Wish For
Fiona is an average teenager, angry with school, her friends and her parents. Feeling lonely and frustrated she finds herself in a new life where she is showered with love and attention. She can’t believe her luck. However there is more to this life than meets the eye and things will never be quite the same again.

Tonight (27 March 2018) the event at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness attracted a large audience and was supported by Safer Highland, Choices for Life, Securigroup, and Stagecoach.
Attending this evening were an array of sponsors, local authority figures and invited VIPs. Following the show a quote was obtained from the following guest: Chief Executive at Newstart Highland, James Dunbar “I think Rock Challenge is a great event and all the schools from across the Highlands were fabulous on stage this evening!”
