The results are in from the 2018 Be Your Best Safer Highland Rock Challenge® (26 March)

Tonight (26 March 2018) the 2018 Safer Highland 2018 Rock Challenge® took place at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness. Five schools from across The Highlands competed, with a showcase performance from Dingwall Academy, who have automatically qualified for the Scottish Final.
1st place:

Our performance is dedicated to the 167 men who lost their lives in the Piper Alpha Oil Platform disaster on 6th June 1988. No one should ever go to work and not return to their loved ones. We would like our performance to help make sure they are never forgotten.

The end of days comes swiftly when your father, protector, and King, leaves the world. In ancient Rome, where the cracks in the realm begin to show in the aftermath of war, the wrath of the Gods is thrown at three young sisters in their grief. As anger and pain reign over the world, will they follow everything into darkness?
Tonight (26 March 2018) the event at Eden Court Theatre, Inverness attracted a large audience and was supported by Safer Highland, Choices for Life, Securigroup, Stagecoach
Attending this evening were an array of sponsors, local authority figures and invited VIPs.
Following the show, Highland Council's Director of Care and Learning, Bill Alexander said: “I think tonight was just stunning. It shows how the young people have worked hard throughout the year to pull off performances like that and it is just remarkable."
