THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL (BIRCHWOOD HIGHLAND PARADE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ON VARIOUS ROADS IN INVERNESS) NOTICE 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Highland Council has made this Notice in terms of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, titled as above.

This Notice may be cited as ‘The Highland Council (Birchwood Highland Parade) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic On Various Roads In Inverness) Notice 2018’.

This Notice is made in the interests of public safety during the ‘Birchwood Highland Parade’ to be held on Saturday 26 May 2018.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will affect vehicular traffic.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will come into effect, and will remain in effect, during the times listed in the schedule hereto and only then under the direction of a Police Constable in uniform.

The Council have had regard to the safety and convenience of alternative routes suitable for the traffic which will be affected by this Notice.

This Notice comes into force during Saturday 26 May 2018.

• Ness Walk Upper, Inverness, closed at its junction with Bught Road to its junction with Ballifeary Lane, between 10:50 hours and 11:10 hours on Saturday 26 May 2018.
• Ness Walk Upper, Inverness, closed at its junction with Ballifeary Lane to its junction with Bishops Road, between 10:55 hours and 11:15 hours on Saturday 26 May 2018.
• Bishops Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Ness Walk Upper to its junction with Ardross Terrace, between 11:00 hours and 11:20 hours on Saturday 26 May 2018.
