Temporary road closures - Inverness

The Highland Council (Star of The North Annual Parade) (Temporary prohibition of traffic on various roads in Inverness) notice 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Highland Council has made a Notice in terms of Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, titled as above.

The Notice is made in the interests of public safety during the ‘Star Of The North Annual Parade’ to be held on Saturday 9 June 2018.

The effect of the Notice is to introduce temporary traffic prohibitions on those roads listed in the schedule hereto.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will affect vehicular traffic.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will come into effect and will remain in effect during the times listed in the schedule hereto and only then under the direction of a Police Constable in uniform.

The Council have had regard to the safety and convenience of alternative routes suitable for the traffic which will be affected by this Order.

This notice comes into force on Saturday 9 June 2018.

• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its roundabout junction with Green Drive to its junction with Drummond Road, between 15:05 hours and 15:25 hours on Saturday 9 June 2018.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Drummond Road to its junction with Old Edinburgh Road, between 15:25 hours and 15:35 hours on Saturday 9 June 2018.
