Temporary road restrictions for Little Mix Concert

In the build up to, during, and immediately following the Little Mix concert that takes place in the Bught Park, Inverness on Sunday 29 July 2018 temporary road restrictions will be in place. 

Details are as follows: 

  • Bught Road closed between its junction with Bught Avenue and its junction with Ness Walk Upper, from 7:00 hours to 23:59 hours on Sunday 29 July 2018. 
  • Ness Walk Upper closed between its junction with Bught Road and its junction with Ballifeary Lane, from 7:00 hours to 23:59 hours on Sunday 29 July 2018. 
  • Ness Walk Upper closed to northbound traffic between its junction with Ballifeary Lane and its junction with Bishops Road, from 12:00 hours to 21:00 hours on Sunday 29 July 2018. 
  • Ness Walk Upper closed between its junction with Ballifeary Lane and its junction with Bishops Road, from 21:00 hours to 23:59 hours on Sunday 29 July 2018. 
  • Ballifeary Lane closed between its junction with Ness Walk Upper and its junction with Springfield Gardens, from 21:00 hours to 23:59 hours on Sunday 29 July 2018. 

The closures will affect vehicular traffic, but pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative routes for vehicles will be available using Bishops Road, Ballifeary Road, Ballifeary Lane (part), Glenurquhart Road, Torvean Avenue, Springfield Gardens, Dunachton Road, Bught Avenue, Bught Road (part), Bught Lane and Bught Drive.

  • There will be no car parking available at the event site other than for disabled parking. City centre car parks should be utilised.
  • The pick-up and drop-off point for all private vehicles will be at the Council HQ car park (rear) with pedestrians taking the route along Ness Walk and Bught Road from there to get to the site. At the end of the concert the same route (in reverse) should be followed back to the pick-up/drop-off point.   
  • The taxi pick up and drop off area will be at Inverness Leisure car park.
  • Disabled parking will be located at the Inverness Ice Centre.
  • The Islands will be open for pedestrian access for those walking to the site.
