Felt-Making Inspired By Ancient Stone

Over the summer there is an opportunity to work alongside artist Ruth Black in Ullapool, Strathpeffer, Poolewe and Lochcarron to discover the techniques of felt-making and then create your own piece using inspiration from the ancient stones around Ross and Cromarty.

The first of the four sessions will take place in Ullapool Village Hall on Tuesday 12 July and then it will be repeated in Strathpeffer Community Centre on Monday 18 July, Poolewe Village Hall on Monday 25 July and at Lochcarron Village Hall on Monday 1 August.

All sessions take place from 10am to 3pm and are suitable for ages 12 years to adult, although younger children may attend if accompanied by an adult.
