New Head Teacher appointed at Kingussie High School

The new Head Teacher of Kingussie High School is Ian Adamson.

Mr Adamson has been Depute Head Teacher at the school since June 2013 and was appointed by The Highland Council following recent interview.

Mr Adamson said:

"I am excited and very proud to be appointed Head Teacher of Kingussie High School. It is a school community that I know very well having worked here since 2013. The school has been on a fantastic journey and I look forward to working with the pupils, parents and staff in my new role."

Mr Adamson previously worked in Thurso High School for eleven years as Principal Teacher of Physical Education before becoming Faculty Head of Health & Wellbeing.   

The school roll is 401 pupils.
